Gloria Trevi, cuyo nombre verdadero es Gloria de los Ángeles Treviño Ruíz, es una cantante, conductora, actriz, bailarina, dibujante y compositora mexicana de pop latino y rock en español que nació el 15 de febrero de 1968 en Monterrey, Nuevo León, México, pero se crío durante toda su infancia en Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas. Ha sido ganadora de nueve premios Grammy Latino. Gloria Trevi, quien nació en el hospital Mugerza a las 14 horas del 15 de febrero de 1968, es hija del Arquitecto Manuel Treviño Cantú y Gloria Ruiz Arredondo. Fue criada desde su nacimiento hasta los doce años de edad en Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas. A sus diez años, sus padres se divorciaron y se trasladó a vivir a su ciudad natal junto a su madre y hermanos. En 1982, a sus 14 años, el programa musical y de concursos XETU de Televisa, lanzó una convocatoria en busca de la doble del personaje de Chispita protagonizado por la cantante y actriz Lucero.
